Hello, so basically everytime I record with OBS the final product looks like this:

Whilst the monitor shows this:

I was struggling to find the solution but didn't succeed, I would greatly appreciate if someone can help me in finding the solution.

Provide a new clean OBS session log.
Restart OBS, do a test recording (both start and stop) then upload the CURRENT log from the help menu in obs and link it.

Provide a new clean OBS session log.
Restart OBS, do a test recording (both start and stop) then upload the CURRENT log from the help menu in obs and link it.
Posted but: "This message is awaiting moderator approval, and is invisible to normal visitors." so yeah, waiting for a moderator approval.

I had to set the file format to "mkv" because I could not play it as "flv" via the "VLC media player" after applying those settings, the screen would go black then it would kick me from the player, but it is not a real issue.
May I also ask if those colors can end up like that because of the graphic card or the computer monitor?

Most of the time it's either the encoder (more common with hardware encoders), the color space settings, or the player.
Most players are expecting partial range colors rather than full and wash out the colors when you choose full range.

Got it, well this time I've set the encoder to x264, color space to 601 and played it with a different player because I can't play it via VLC.
Is there anything else I can do to fix this issue or should I accept that it isn't fixable?

Check your Video Enhancement settings in your GPU Control Panel, it's possible some dynamic range settings are being applied using DXVA effects

Hey, it's me again. I've came to a realisation that the issue occurs when recording with ANY capturing software. The video colors aren't only washed out but the video quality is poor and "grainy" or in other words has video noise. If you wonder what my specs are::

Graphic card: AMD Radeon (TM) R7 370 Series 4GB
OS: Windows 10 64bit
Monitor: Acer AL1703 1280x1024 60Hz 8-bit RGB
Motherboard: ASRock
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6400 CPU @ 2.70GHz 4 cores
Ram: 8 GB ram

I'll be pleased that if anyone who knows what the issue might be helps me out in this.
Thank you.

I fixed the crappy dull colors by setting the format to i444 (but I also chose YUV 709 full).
The resulting file sizes will increase, however. Maybe the CPU load too.
