Question / Help Video Capture Device (Roxio Video Capture USB) stops the video if I turn on the audio

Hey there,
My stream and video capture device were working perfectly fine up until yesterday, when I saw that users were complaining about a "Trial" sound coming from the stream. I quickly found out that it was from Virtual Audio Cable. Since I had no use for it, I uninstalled it. Though when I went to stream earlier, the video capture on my Roxio Video Capture wasn't working unless I had disabled its audio source. When I tried to enable the audio again, the video disappeared.

Any help solving this issue is greatly appreciated!

That's very strange. Aren't you just capturing it via window capture? If so, we don't really have any control over their program. Still though it's quite unusual.

I'm using the Video Capture Device option. I have splitters running between the capture card itself, and the console, so that it will also appear on my TV.

Use AmarecTV to do this.


Just make sure to install the english live_setup file in the folder and this will work. (Video Capture AmarecTV)
And install the codec too.
You do not have to do the sony vegas part :D

NOTE: This is Windows not mac
