Question / Help UScreenCapture not saving configurations

Hello guys, UScreenCapture is a video filter that allows direct capturing of the computer screen. And you can use it by choosing it via Video Capture Device source. But the thing is, I try to configure video capture, as it can be seen in the first screenshot.

I try to capture only a certain region of my screen, and try to set the capture framerate to 30, so that the recorded video is not somewhat choppy. But when I press execute/confirm, it does not save my settings, and everything goes back to how they were in default.

As you can see here:

Could someone help me on this?

What part of this is related to OBS? Why aren't you just using a monitor capture source in OBS?

Because UScreen is just an addon for OBS (at least I'm using it as that anyways), and I'm not using monitor capture, because the resulting video is really choppy and laggy.

I'm still not seeing how an issue with this UScreenCapture program has anything to do with OBS.

How are you not seeing it ? I'm using OBS, as it's clear from the screenshots as well, am I not? Ofcourse it has something to do with OBS. If you don't know the solution or anything to do about it then you can say I don't know, but attempting to illegitimize this issue goes toe to toe against the purpose of this sub-section of forum, I believe.

Perhaps I'm not understanding the issue you're describing so please keep your pants on. From your posts and screenshots, it seems like a program that is not OBS is not saving its settings? That would make it not an OBS problem, the fact that you're trying to use it with OBS is irrelevant.

Are you trying to say that the video capture source you're adding in OBS -- the the source's properties that appear in the background, not the external program -- isn't saving its settings?

The UScreencapture screen capture screen you screenshotted is NOT OBS. It's a screen from the UScreenCapture directshow driver.

The settings provided by other directshow devices do get saved.

@Sapiens, yes it's the source's properties that appear in the background, it's not an external program. That window appears when you push the "Configure" button inbetween the device "UScreenCapture" and the button "Refresh".

Then I would direct you to what @Osiris just told you. The window that appears when you click on the Configure button in the source properties is part of the UScreenCapture DirectShow driver, not OBS.

I don't think that you've given the right link to the devs of the program, because no support is returning to my problem, and my topic is getting deleted on forums.

Okay help me on making the Monitor capture actually usable please. I've tried many different methods and I'm feeling frustration and burnt out right now. When I try to capture anything with the monitor capture, the resulting video is too laggy (even though it's not laggy on my screen while I was recording).
