Hey guys, I've been doing some research for about a week now on how to replace my HD PVR 2 (generally just fed up with hauppaugue in general) and looking for a capture device that is natively supported through OBS. Problem is the majority of the capture cards I have been seeing seem to be mixed if they work or not, plus I can't find anything as to if they're supported fully by OBS.
I'd prefer PCIe and budget of $100, pretty flexible though. I need it to be able to do mostly old console streaming such as SNES and n64 games. Anything else will be PC and I can use OBS with dxtory for that.
My setup is going to be SNES -> composite cables with splitters to my old TV (love playing old games on my really old Sony) and capture device. So it is relatively simple and my HD PVR irritates me, and is more than I need.
Computer specs should be fine, but here are the most relevant specs.
Windows 8.1
AMD 8350
Radeon 7950
8gb ram
