Double click on the text source name --> Scroll down to "Background Color" --> click the [Select color] button

Just put "a" at the end of the "hh:mm:ss" and increase the width to 350px (with or without space at the front depends how you wanted it to look like)

Ah...I am glad to see that I am not the only one having trouble with the formatting.

The old link doesn't support formatting anymore, and there is an alternative link (because the Rawgit is shutting down soon as SJP176 says).
To use your formatting with the new link:
1- find ..../clock.html?style=.... in your old link,
2- copy formatting part of your old URL (from ?style= to the end of the link),
3- and paste it at the end of the new link:
