Hello all,
My question here is how exactly do I get Quality game sound from my elgato without having a nasty echo from my obs. Im running astros with mix amp pro from my computer and an optical from a ps4 and xbox one (what i use switches). The problem im having is that the only way to get good sound from the game is to go into properties on the Elgato in sources and have the output audio to desktop checked. The sound is wonderful and it works but the problem is that while obs is running there is an echo of everything im hearing from my mixamp (because my audio is offset to work with the video from webcam and elgato). If i use my mixer to mute the obs the sound also goes away as well. What do i do to fix this issue so im hearing things from skype and steam chat as well as game sound and the local recording also hear what i hear but dont send echos to my headset as well?
