Hello guys!
I need suggestions for improving my stream quality, as I'm not quiet satisfied with it atm.
I feel my stream is a bit choppy:
http://www.twitch.tv/biosquirreldk/b/565082752

HW specs:
Gaming PC
4770k
16gb ram
660ti sli

Streaming PC spec:
Xeon 1230v3 (quadcore, 8 threads)
gt430 1gb
8gb ram

Using Elgato gamecapture hd

OBS settings:
-Encoding
*quality 8
*max bitrate 3500
*CBR enabled
*Sound, AAC, 44,1, 128bit

-Video
*resolution 1280x720
*no downscaling
*fps 60

-Sound
*Mic offset 1400ms

-Advanced
*Processor priority High
*Scene buffering 700
*x264 cpu preset Medium
*encoding profile Main
*keyframe 2
*Use CFR

So is there anything I could do to improve streamquality?

quality itself looks really good framerate doesnt really seem choppy to me not maybe you should use another browser to watch your vod's are use local record since flashplayer and the vods can achieve really bas results sometimes

settings wise you cant really change much more you would have to read through the x264 settings to fiddle around with bframes and whatnot and always monitor your dedicated machine so you can decide if it can handle any more load

it indeed does look less smooth compared to other 60 fps streams. You should try to disable CFR for streaming, because it can duplicate frames when reaching a lower in-game frame rate than 60 which could make your stream looks less smooth. I'm not an expert in this, I might be talking nonsense, but you could give it a try.

Hmm I'm not going under 80fps in game.. Usually around 120+

Your Elgato doesn't appear to be configured to output at 60 FPS in that log file.

Edit: After further investigation (i.e. asking paibox) this is because it can't output 720p60 in OBS1, though it should be fixed in OBS Studio whenever that's in a usable state for Windows. So you're feeding OBS a 30 FPS source and half of the frames are duplicates. If you're going to use a 2PC setup then you should invest in a proper capture card.
