Streamlabs and Streamelements alerts stop displaying and playing audio all of a sudden

Everything was great, although did have the occasional issue with the alerts deciding not to play audio; but those were easy fixes. Now everything has changed and nothing works.

I think the biggest change I've made to OBS was when I changed from Software encoding to Hardware encoding because my CPU can't handle video games and OBS. BUT I am not too sure as to what
caused it.

If anyone has a fix or advice, please send it your way.

Are you using OBS Studio, or Streamlabs OBS?

You should reach out to Streamlabs for support with their version.

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

I'm using OBS but I use streamlabs and streamelements purely for their alert functions
