Question / Help Streaming and recording

Hello,

I want to know if there is a way to stream and record the steam but at a high quality. Is there a plugin or something? I don't want to use OBS MP.
 
Its double the CPU hit, but you can open two instances of OBS at the same time and use different settings on each. I don't think you can game capture both of them though.

You can't game capture both of them. So is OBS going to have that option in the near future?
 
OBS already has this feature, it's just not in OBS. OBS-Multiplatform allows you to stream at one bitrate and record at another, even different resolutions IIRC but seeing as you don't want to use it...

You might run into Hooking issues and you will lose all your overlays on the recording

No, it won't, not the regular version of OBS. There's no active development of it any more, just the occasional bug fix. If you want a new feature, it'll be put into the MP version.
