Question / Help Stream started being choppy/laggy

Very strange. Your drivers seem to be an OK version, however, you can try downloading drivers from AMD for version 18.6.1 which so far in my tests are working very well. Make sure you do a CUSTOM Install, and Select CLEAN INSTALLATION. This will take longer but will ensure that old driver bits get removed. I would note that since the last windows update, many games are doing this for me, and some work fine...so I'm not sure if we are running around in circles when there may be something larger in error, within the last windows update. Also disable RELIVE while trying to use OBS in case you haven't already.

The problem seems to be worse when attempting fullscreen capture with game capture, if I use windowed or bordless mode for the app/game and then capture, I have a bit more luck, but still getting a big hit these latest days in in-game performance... just a note.

yea i tried it but it dont work for me, if i dont leave it on fullscreen it doesnt fit in obs. i also updated the drivers but nothing :/ i appreciate you trying to help me tho :)

You can make the scene fiit by selecting the capture and pressing CTRL+F :)

thank you, it gives it a little black bar but thank you for the suggestion :) i just wish i knew what the problem was, seems like there is always something holding me back from doing what I want :/

Did this start by chance, AFTER you did the latest windows update....think about it and let me know.

I honestly don't remember when the latest window update was but it is a possibility, just not 100% sure so I don't wanna put blame without being sure :)

The latest update happened in the late april to start of May. Seem like it coexists?

Well not necessarily. We could ALL be waiting on Microsoft or on OBS for this one, I mean, I just see so many ppl with the same problems, including myself! So yes, be patient, don't give up, don't get frustrated, keep on diggin'!
