Question / Help Stream Looks Like I'm Streaming Through A Potato..

So I've just took up streaming but my stream looks terrible, I've followed a lot of guides on Youtube for the best settings with OBS etc but nothing seems to work. It actually looks decent when I'm standing still in game, I move and it goes all pixelated.

My set up is i5 CPU, 7970 GPU, 8GB RAM.

I have an average download of about 60-70 and an upload of any where between 10-20.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks.

Hmm sorry, that log is cut off (strangely), can you maybe try uploading the whole log again, if its incomplete you could use
"Help" and click on "Open log folder" in OBS and then check through the last logs, upload "a longer one" that starts with:
"some timecode" Open Broadcaster Software v0.63....

Perfect, and looks pretty ok. In the second stream your connection seemed to have a bit of instabilities.
What you probably expected is a much better quality, to reach that you might have to increase the bitrate by a lot more, or increase the compression (but that will probably be too much for your CPU).
Can you link us an example vod, just to make sure we are talking on the same stage!

My internet on the whole is very good though, I get great speeds for both download and upload so I don't see it being that. I upped the bitrate to 3000 and can't see any difference really? I'll stream later on tonight and link it here so you can see what's going on?

If I up my bitrate to much a lot of people wont be able to watch it, that's the problem,

Games like DayZ with a lot of detailed grass and foliage are pretty much always going to look mediocre at best within the current bitrate limits of live streaming. It's too much detail and motion.

It's looking offline, you should configure your channel to save your stream so you can link to a past broadcast.
