Question / Help Stream freezing?

I started to stream a league of legends game and it worked until the game started then the video froze. The sound was still working but the video was stuck on one frame. I tried switching between game capture and monitor capture and having both on, but nothing was making it work. I have windows 8 if that helps in any way. Here's a link to one of the videos if it also helps. http://www.twitch.tv/kyler9437/b/511000659

You have an outrageous amount of duplicated frames. Your CPU is extremely weak. You're going to need to downscale quite a bit, probably by at least 2x, and probably change your x264 preset to ultrafast. You may even need to lower your FPS to 25. Try giving those things a shot.

Downscaling more, using the ultrafast preset, and lowering your FPS will help, yes. But you do have an absurdly old and underpowered CPU, so streaming might be out of the question for you.

Whats funny is that my laptop is only a few months old. Its a Acer Aspire e1-532p-4471, There really isn't a reason it should be under powered. Is there a way to kind of boost my streams?

When you bought it has no bearing on whether the laptop is underpowered, that's determined by the hardware inside. A Pentium 3556U is a weak dual core CPU; more than enough for every day office use and passable for a lot of games, but absolutely underpowered for live streaming. The graphics hardware in it is similarly weak. As a result you have to lower your streaming settings to accommodate it.
