Hey,
I have a 2 PC setup and I am using the Avermedia LGP Lite capture card. If there would be an Avermedia forum I would post this question over there but it seems like they no longer have one, so I will post my question here.
I'm using the VCE version of OBS which does not install OBS on your computer, you just run it straight from the downloaded folder and I think that wheny you're installing the Avermedia drivers they are searching for the default OBS folder, but as I haven't really installed OBS it won't be found in the normal location (C:\Programs\OBS) so I guess the Avermedia fails to install the drivers for OBS.
I don't know, that's just my theory because if I install the normal OBS and then install the Avermedia drivers, then I am able to choose Stream Engine as video capture device. But since I am not using the normal OBS version I think the Avermedia drivers fails for my "uninstalled" OBS.
So how do I fix this? I have tried to install normal OBS into the normal location (C:\Programs\OBS), then remove all the installed OBS files and put my "uninstalled OBS's" files in the normal OBS install location. It didn't work.
