Question / Help Stream Delay / Lag

Can anyone help me with improving my settings on OBS for Twitch?
The stream seems to have quite a delay and often some lag and I don't know how to fix it.

You should probably keep your video bitrate around 2000kbps and your audio either 128kbps or 192kbps. You could also check the "Minimize network impact" box to see if that helps. By the way what resolution are you trying to stream at?

Alright as I said before, you should probably keep your video bitrate around 2000kbps and your audio either 128kbps or 192kbps. You could also check the "Minimize network impact" box to see if that helps. When it comes to selecting your encoding profile, you should start at "slow" and work your way down from there. Also don't forget to set your FPS to 30. Anymore questions just ask :)

The stream still has a delay of about 5 seconds, OBS estim. recommended 1700kbps but it doesn't seem to make much of a change. Can anyone help me with this?

edit: Wait, are you talking about the delay from when you do something and when it appears on Twitch? The standard Twitch delay is 20-30 seconds.
