Source Clone 0.2.3

Hey Exeldro, I just updated to the latest version and unfortunately none of my existing Source Clone sources work anymore. I'm going to try rolling back to 2.1, but let me know if there's anything I can provide to help troubleshoot.

Edit: 2.1 did fix it for me.

All of my source clones are cloning scenes. A few of them are nested clones (clones of clones), but even the first clone isn't working so I don't think nesting is the issue.

I don't have any that are currently working, but if you'd like I could try updating again and creating a clone of a source instead of a scene to see if that works.

Ok, I updated again and tried messing around with it. Here's what I found!

Creating a new Source Clone of anything works fine without any issues. So the problem for me is only existing Source Clones (which I only have of scenes).

Going into the Properties of any broken Source Clone and changing a setting doesn't do anything. If I click "OK" to close the properties, the Source Clones remain borken.

However, if I simply open the Properties and click "Cancel", the Source Clone fixes itself! I went through and tried it with every one of my Source Clones, and it worked with all of them.

Unfortunately, closing OBS and relaunching it breaks them all again, but the new ones all remain working.

Essentially, this newest update isn't really backwards compatible without some effort. To avoid issues, I would need to recreate all of my Source Clones.

Hope this helps! For now I'm going to roll back again, but let me know if you want me to give anything else a try.

Thanks!

Hey Exeldro,

Sorry for the delayed reply! It's been a busy week...

So I had an odd thing happen. I updated back to 2.3 and then tried to duplicate my scene collection to cut it down to one of the source clones for a json export, but this caused OBS to crash:

When I restarted OBS, it was on an empty new scene collection. Switching back to my regular scene collection, all of the source clones are now working even after restarting again.

Trying to duplicate it again crashes it still, so I'm not sure what's going on there, but the source clone issue seems to be fixed now?

If you want I can send you the full json export, but I'd hate to waste your time if this was just a weird isolated quirk I was experiencing after all this. Sorry for taking up your time!

Thanks
