Question / Help Sound issues

For a while OBS was playing sound fine, was able to pick up from my headset, game sound, and Teamspeak and streaming it just fine. Now it's suddenly no longer picking up sound with my headset plugged in and when it's not plugged in it's not picking up sound from the built in microphone until I open up settings and bring up the window for the microphone noise gate. I need help please.

I am having the same issue. I have a Xonar U7 extrenal USB sound card and it does not pick up my audio from any desktop sounds, besides my microphone

Regarding the mic, does disabling noise gate fix the issue?
