Question / Help Sound Channel as Source(On scene)

I have pretty much checked everything I can and also had help from a friend of mine who is also interested in achieving this specific thing. And we can not find anything on this.

I'm currently using a Turtle Beach Earforce 7 Headset http://www.turtlebeach.com/product-detail/xbox-headsets/ear-force-xp-seven/340
And this headset has two separate sound channels. One channel called "Seven Game", and one channel called "Seven Chat".
When I stream I sometimes sit on very crowded teamspeaks/ventrilo's and I do not want my stream to capture that.
But most of the time I sit in very funny conversations on skype, with smaller groups of people. In these occurences I want to be able to capture the "Seven Chat" channel.

I have tried the "DirectShow Audio Source Plugin" https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/directshow-audio-source-plugin.32/
But to no avail.

Is there any way I can add the "Seven Chat" as a source and make it work?
I want to be able to enable/disable it while live, just as I am with my web-cam for example.

Sincerely
AzeVerse

try VAC is my best advice to you.

as in Virtual Audio Cable?
Problem there is I have tried to meddle with it, but I can't figure this out myself, and I haven't found any guides that show how to set things up the way I want.

If someone could explain and/or link to a guide that shows how to set this up it would be really appreciated.

VAC is not easy and BTH, sometimes complicating things makes the configuration less flexible. give it a go and play with it til you get it like you want.

The only reason I'm asking for help here, is because in my eyes and from what I can find I have tried everything I can think of.
I'm not a super advanced user of OBS or any other sound management, so your acronym's ain't helping as it pretty much leaves me guessing at what to do to go about with my problem.

And beeing supportive in telling me to just keeps trying?
thanks, helps a lot :>

I would like someone to describe a solution, not just tell me there is one, but I got to try my way to find it somewhere.

I have tried, for days.

TBH - to be honest. sorry, I get in a hurry :D <--smile with teeth

Here is the public list of OBS plugins:
https://obsproject.com/forum/list/obs-plugins/

Currently in development is the beta of OBS2 aka (also known as) OBS MP. it has plans for a lot more capabilities built in but again, its in Beta so that might/might not be a complete solution for you.

EDIT: also, the support you get from us is complete voluntary. I have the same access as you do and no one setup in OBS is the same, so I assist with providing people the resources and configurations already out there or try and figure out what might work, but as I said, I don't have a perfect solution for you

thanks for clarifying that BTH, I was thinking a long time on that one >.<

And yeah, I'm only asking to see if there is any people out there that know of a solution that I might not have tried already :p
thanks for taking your time man!
