Question / Help Skipping Frames When Using File Output Only

I recently bought a new graphics card, an Nvidia GTX 660 which came pre-overclocked. Ever since that happened, i've had trouble recording anything as of late. Everything I record drops frames with no explanation. Before this I had a lower-end graphics card and it never did this. I've tried changing the processor priority but it really doesn't help very much.
It's also now causing me lag in game which OBS has never done before.
I assume it's not an issue with my build because I have a pretty high-end system, plus this hasn't been an issue before.

My build:
Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2P Motherboard
AMD-FX 8350 4.0Ghz
Corasair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 RAM
ASUS GTX 660 OC2
Corsair CX750M PSU
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM Harddrive

Your log seems fine. How are you determining if there are skipped frames? Are you sure it isn't a playback problem?

It's definitely not a playback issue, it's still doing it when I play on a secondary viewer.

I also have a slight problem. It's fixed now, but i have to have the bitrate to 3500 since the Calculator told me to do so on 1080p. Problem is some viewers are not able to see the stream due to the high bitrate? What is a good solution for this to keep quality but for people to also view. Decreasing the bitrate to 2500 skips my frames when I keep the 1080p.

It's also giving me a warning saying something along the lines of high CPU usage when encoding.

That fixed my problem! I changed my output resolution to 720p at 60fps and it's butter smooth now. Thank you!
