Hi All,
I started streaming again for the first time in a year yesterday and could not be bothered to set up my streaming PC so decided to have a crack at streaming on 1 PC and considering I was only streaming Path of Exile, my computer handled it fine and my chat said that stream quality was fine! My question is, is that if/when I try playing something more intensive on stream, should I use NVENC or x264 for my encoder? As it stands I'm using x264.
CPU - i7-6800K
GPU - GTX1080
My monitor isn't anything special, 1080p 60Hz! I'm not downscaling and I streamed at 60fps without issue though I'm not sure how it will hold up in a more intensive game.
If you're looking for examples of what I mean when I say intensive games then FH4, F1 2019 and KF2 are probably as intensive as it will get for me.
