several recording at the same time

Hello, I would like to record several videos at the same time.

A recording will last 1h30 and I would make several small recordings at the same time, which I would export when recording the first video.

Can you help me achieve this ?

Strange task. What exactly you want to do? Maybe OBS is not the application you need.

Yes it's possible... I have to film a show with an external camera, but during this show I have to recover extracts of what the camera is filming in order to be able to edit them before the end of the show.

The replay buffer normally sits in RAM, but you can dump it to a file too. Would that give you the snippets you need?

I couldn't find the command in OBS natively, but the Advanced Scene Switcher plugin can do it, as shown here.

If you use the hotkey method as shown, then the name that you give it appears in OBS's normal list of hotkeys, and you can assign the actual key from there.
