So, I've seen there's loads of people who have this problem but after trying out all the 'fixes', my problem still remains. So I've turned to posting my issue on here, in the hopes of finding someone who's able to help me.
As the title states, my problem is I have the red screen when I try to add my AverMedia gamecapture device to show my PS4 screen. This happened after OBS crashed today and I got the "Error Parsing X file", and I had to delete my scenecollection file. All my settings were still saved, only had to input the scenes again. No problem, I thought.
However, everytime I add a Source, it just shows up as a red screen for me (2 hours ago before the error occurred, it worked fine in preview). When I open up the streamengine, ReCentral 2 iirc, it shows the screen just fine. So I could add a window capture and just stream from the ReCentral screen - but I don't want that many applications opened at the same time. I just want the direct input from my AverMedia as before, but I can't get it to work.
What can I do to fix this?
