Question / Help Recordings are laggy, file type

So the title pretty much says it all. Currently trying to record League of Legends and i don't lag whilst recording but rather the playback of my recordings are unfortunately laggy.

I was also wondering if i can change the file type that my recordings are saved as. Currently they are .flv which movie maker doesn't support. If not a good conversion program perhaps?

Hmmm i thought that was it, i will upload what i have.

They should all be from when i was recording honestly. I tried different settings though to hope fix the issue.

You've got a case of your main CPU not being able to keep up with the game AND recording at the same time.

If i were to add more ram would it help? I planned on doing this anyway but im wondering if this will solve my issue as well?

I doubt it, as the encoder delay problems it's reporting are more likely CPU related.

What power plan are you using?

Adding more ram will not help as encoding process is done mainly on the CPU and a little of it on the GPU. change your preset to superfast and buffer to 0

What do you mean by power plan? And alright i just recorded a video and about to change it to mp4 and see if it is still skipping.

If things still aren't working, post another logfile with up-to-date settings.

It is set to "high performance" for my battery plan and I am still fiddling with the settings in OBS to see if i can get the recordings to stop skipping. I set the resolution to 960x540 and superfast like the guy above said to.
