I have just downloaded OBS and I've been trying to record videos, but a lot of times the recordings mess up and it just freezes at some point, and never unfreezes.

you are in luck, your CPU is not good for doing software encoding so that is the bad news.

the good news is that your APU is VCE which is hardware encoding. There are limits but it will take most of the strain from your CPU and put in on the GPU inside your CPU.

There is a build of OBS that uses VCE which is a hardware encoder, download it to your desktop or wherever and follow the instructions on that main page. once you get it installed and running, change the encoder tab from x264 to VCE
