So, i was recording one day by myself, and the recording came out perfect, then i called my friend on SKYPE to record, when we finished recording, i watched the clip over, and there was audio, but it was just a black screen. I kicked my friend out of the Skype call and tried recording by myself, again, perfect. Invited him back, and it was black screen again. can someone help?

Nope, just audio call, and i dont have a a camera xD

With that being for recording, I would recommend the settings from https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/how-to-make-high-quality-local-recordings.16/ with the x264 preset set to ultrafast, but that's for another discussion.

The hook conflict is likely what's triggering things.
