Hey guys,
is it possible to stream in hd and record simultaneously in fullhd, for example?

Cheers
OBS studios allows this. notice that if recording at two different resolutions the downscale will need to be set in the stream tab and no downscale in video tab. Lastly it is recommended to use a hardware encoder such as VCE quicksync or NVNEC for the locally recorded instance.

fps will need to be the same for both.
bitrate and buffer may be different for each.

Match the scaled resolution to your base resolution under Settings > Video (i.e. don't downscale)
Go to Settings > Output and switch to advanced output mode
Use the rescale output option under Settings > Output > Streaming tab to downscale your stream
Change the encoder dropdown under Settings > Output > Recording tab to something other than "Use stream encoder"

This subforum is for the old OBS (OBS Classic). The new OBS is called "OBS Studio" and it is the one that has the features described above by dping and Sapiens.

Update drivers, post a link to your logfile from the help menu. NVNEC should be available for windows 8.1 and 10 I believe.
