OBS studios allows this. notice that if recording at two different resolutions the downscale will need to be set in the stream tab and no downscale in video tab. Lastly it is recommended to use a hardware encoder such as VCE quicksync or NVNEC for the locally recorded instance.Hey guys,

fps will need to be the same for both.
bitrate and buffer may be different for each.
Thanks, but i don't have any tab "output" :/Match the scaled resolution to your base resolution under Settings > Video (i.e. don't downscale)
Go to Settings > Output and switch to advanced output mode
Use the rescale output option under Settings > Output > Streaming tab to downscale your stream
Change the encoder dropdown under Settings > Output > Recording tab to something other than "Use stream encoder"

Update drivers, post a link to your logfile from the help menu. NVNEC should be available for windows 8.1 and 10 I believe.I have installed and configured obs studio. But my graphic card(gtx 970) are not available So if i stream or record my game is they are lagging. What can i do?
Update your nvidia drivers is what I meant.I have the latest version(1.13.2) but NVNEC Encoder are still not available. Enyone else an idea?
My OS is windows 8.1
Maybe that is it. for some reason I was thinking it was avail in 8.1 as well.nvenc isn't available in studio outside of windows 10 yet last I heard.
