Hi,

I’ve been streaming for the last two years, and the last year or so I’ve been having issues with random disconnects towards the twitch servers.

I’ve seen similar threads, but nothing really helps. I’ve been changing settings based on what I’ve seen in these threads, but it still happens, and completely random times. Some streams there is no crashes, and like yesterday it crashed 3 times in the matter of minutes.

The crash causes a twitch blue screen with a “NotLikeThis” emote for 10sec, and when it reconnects the stream, the viewer most of the times has no audio(like 1 out 20 crash they audio restores), causing me to restart the stream. This is a big problem, as I stream on a delay to protect the integrity of the game.

My first crashes gave these lines from couple of weeks ago:

23:24:06.928: WriteN, RTMP send error 10054 (4097 bytes)
23:24:06.928: WriteN, RTMP send error 10054 (80 bytes)
23:24:06.928: WriteN, RTMP send error 10038 (42 bytes)
23:24:06.928: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Disconnected from rtmp://osl.contribute.live-video.net/app
23:24:06.928: Output 'adv_stream': Reconnecting in 10 seconds..
23:24:06.928: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Freeing 3462 remaining packets
23:24:16.929: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Connecting to RTMP URL rtmp://osl.contribute.live-video.net/app...
23:24:16.933: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Interface: Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) I219-V (ethernet, 1000 mbps)
23:24:17.639: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Connection to rtmp://osl.contribute.live-video.net/app successful
23:24:17.639: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Socket send buffer is 65536 bytes

This doesn’t happen any more. Now they look like this:

19:54:37.777: socket_thread_windows: Received FD_CLOSE, 48450 ms since last send (buffer: 677254 / 680960)
19:54:37.777: socket_thread_windows: Aborting due to FD_CLOSE, error 10053
19:54:37.778: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Disconnected from rtmp://osl.contribute.live-video.net/app
19:54:37.778: Output 'adv_stream': Reconnecting in 10 seconds..
19:54:37.778: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Freeing 4903 remaining packets
19:54:47.781: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Connecting to RTMP URL rtmp://osl.contribute.live-video.net/app...
19:54:47.783: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Interface: Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) I219-V (ethernet, 1000 mbps)
19:54:48.721: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Connection to rtmp://osl.contribute.live-video.net/app successful
19:54:48.721: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] New socket loop enabled by user
19:54:48.724: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Socket send buffer is 65536 bytes

I also have a strange repeating error message that seems to have no impact.

17:13:01.760: [win-wasapi: 'Voice Chat'] update settings:
17:13:01.760: device id: {0.0.0.00000000}.{ba83ea5a-605a-4bcd-8e83-73d88de568b5}
17:13:01.760: use device timing: 1

I’ve attached the logs from yesterday’s stream. One normal and one cleaned up for easier reading, where I have removed 8000 lines of this repeated message

OBS analyzer:

Thanks in advance!
