Question / Help Problems with TS and in game sound

I cannot figure out how I can get the sound coming from my TS and game (league of legends in this case) to be included in my stream. I have looked at several of the tutorials from the website and haven't been able to gleam any help from them. If anybody has the time could you walk me through from the ground up?

Edit: I should note that sound from my microphone comes through but nothing that comes through the headphones makes it to my stream.

OBS will capture your internal audio (1 input) and your mic (1 input).
Make sure that LoL and TS3 use the same audio output and set this output as your desktop audio source in OBS.

You can also use a hardware mixer to grab the sound that is going out of your PC + Mic, mix them together and route it to line in (so OBS would capture only 1 input at all and no desktop audio). I use this solution while DJing and streaming - its a bit more expensive and adds a ton of cables, but it works if you have more than 1 audio source.

Or get Virtual Audio Cable, its a basic software mixer that can route multiple audio sources to 1 virtual output (set this in OBS, it will not go to the speaker/headphones). Is an option but as an audio guy i prefer hardware over software mixing.

This is a design flaw in OBS that I will eventually have to fix. Too many people like to 'separate' their audio and I never accounted for that.

I want both of them to come through my headphones as well as to go through my stream, also I should note that both my headphones/mic and my speakers use a usb port instead of the audio cables that they normally do if that has any relevance to my problems.

Normally the headphones just have to be your default playback device in Windows and OBS should use them.
Make sure to go to Settings > Advanced and UNcheck the "Use input device for desktop audio" box. Then check in the audio settings that either "Default" or the name of your Headset/Soundcard is selected as desktop audio. Maybe give OBS a restart if you had to uncheck the checkbox.
