Hello there! i will try to explain my problem as accurately as possible-
I want to start streaming overwatch.
My monitor is at 2k resolution, but i figured for streaming i will drop my game resolution to full hd, and the same i did in streamlabs obs with my canvas size, and output resolution, with of course enabling 60 fps.
I am currently trying to stream into youtube rather then twitch.
now, my pc specs are: 16 gb ram, AMD ryzen 7 2700x, and an rtx2800, which i figure should be quite a strong system nowdays.
I do stream to youtube from the middle east, so i figured there might be some server problems, altho usually an internet speed check shows a decent ping of around 10 and a download speed of around 90 mbps.
while trying to stream i asked a friend for help to see what goes right and what goes wrong:
i heard for a 60fps FHD stream i should be above 4000 Bitrate, but whenever i went above around 2800 bitrate, altho the stream itself had a clearer image, the fps of the stream dropped significantly, making it look stopmotion-ish, mb at around 20 fps or less i would assume. and at around 3000 bitrate and upwards, things would get really blurry when action started to go down within the game.
i tried streaming on 2500 bitrate, and then, altho the game ran smoothly here and there, the actual quality of the stream was extremely bad, probably lower the 480p.
my solution for now is streaming on 2750 bitrate, which gives me a smooth stream, but around 720p result or less in the actual stream quality.
beside all of that, there is the checkbox in advanced options of "dynamically change bitrate when dropping frames while streaming" which, when i enabled, gave me and averge bitrate of 2900 regardless of the actual bitrate i set at the start of the stream, even if it was 15000.
other then that. other stats i set up already: my encoder is NVENC new, my rate control is CBR, my preset is Quality, keyframe interval is two, and my profile is main.
anyone has any idea if there is a possibility for me to both make my stream run with smooth fps, along with the good resolution i feel like im already compensating for by dropping from my usual 2k resolution?
thank u for any comment and help!
this means a lot!
