I noticed, that the tiling of docks in the main window enforces a layout, which primarily divides the interface into rows. The output preview then takes up the entire height of its row. This prevents tiling like this (demonstrated using docks in separate windows) and can lead unuseful or inefficient tiling. (In this example the chat is quite short and the audio mixer unnecessarily wide.)
I'm looking for a plugin to make the preview behave as a dock to enable column-based layouts.
Also more preview scaling options would be neat, like filling up all available space (while keeping the right aspect ratio) instead of leaving a gray border or free scaling to zoom in on any spot when useful.
