Please help :( VIDEO damaged

Hi everyone,

I accidentally closed my computer while recording important on-line meeting. I opened OBS studio back and the information about damaged filed appeared. Now in folder I have broken file and none of the on-line fix programms worked... :(

Do you have any solution for that? Recording lasted 3 hours... Paying back with chocolate and wine...

Yes i did save it to mp4 format,
because I am sooo lame and did not know that I shouldn't :(

You can try the different varieties of untrunc, but it's never sure if a given mp4 is really recoverable: https://www.google.com/search?q=untrunc

There is no way to recover a crashed MP4 recording. It is not possible. The best a 'repair tool' is going to be able to do is grab one or two video frames now and then (at best) and maybe some badly distorted audio. They're designed mostly to fix after-recording corruption. With none of the descriptor atom (which gets written out only at the very end of an MP4/MOV) there's just nothing they can do.

There is absolutely no hope. Only thing you can do is delete it and record again.
