just yesterday I was streaming perfectly fine but today I opened OBS and wasn't able to stream because everything was extremly choppy and I got 7-8/30fps at best. It literally changed over night.
I realized that all of a suddon I only have the software encoding available and hardware encoding is not listed anymore.
Apart from OBS every other software runs perfectly fine. As long as I have OBS closed I can play games on Steam with ~60fps but as soon as I open OBS framerate drops to 15-23fps.
The only thing that actually changed over night was, that the nvidia-firmware-535-535.146.02 package was updated
My setup:
Xubuntu 23.10
GeForce RTX 3050, latest drivers are installed and active (nvidia-driver-525)
OBS 30.0.0 64bit
64GB RAM
AMD Ryzen 7 1700X
