Question / Help Only my webcam is working - everything else comes up empty

Hi,
I apologize if I am not following some forum rules, or if this issue has been addressed already, I just couldn't find this particular problem.

I've been using OBS for a while, but hadn't touched it in a few months. I went back to it today, and literally everything I try to capture (using window capture, game capture) comes up blank, except for webcam and monitor capture (and monitor capture will sometimes give me an error of "Texture->map failed:0x887a0005 0x887a0006 Your video card or driver froze and was reset. Please check for possible hardware / driver issues. This error can also occur if you have enabled opencl in x264 custom settings.)

When I try to uninstall, I got an issue with GraphicsCaptureHook.dll. So I renamed that folder to gibberish, uninstalled, and reinstalled, so that there is now a proper plugin folder called GraphicsCapture with GraphicsCaptureHook.dll and some other files in there.

I have a Lenovo with Nvidia GeForce GT 755M, and I make sure that this adapter is selected under settings->video. I've also gone through the nvidia control panel and selected OBS under the 3d settings so that the high performance adapter (nvidia) is forced for OBS. No matter what program I try to capture (anything on steam, VBA, RECentral, etc) it just comes up blank, and I am totally lost as to what to do next.

I don't know if this is relevant info at all, but when I try to connect a console to my pc using the Avermedia LGP, it records in pc-free mode perfectly fine, but when I connect the game capture device to my pc and open RECentral to view the video, no signal is present.

I really have no idea what to do, and again sorry if I am not following some forum rules. Thanks in advance

Sorry, I thought I did that. http://pastebin.com/GCDZVHM3

Check that OBS is still configured properly in your Nvidia control panel. If only monitor capture is working then OBS is still running on the integrated GPU. You should also test game capture on something more normal like a DX9/10/11 game, not on RECentral or an emulator (a capture card should be added as a video capture source, not through capturing RECentral; emulators in particular can be problematic to capture).

OBS is still configured to "high performance nvidia processor" in the nvidia control panel.

Only monitor capture and webcam still work, I tested Lococycle (which has both dx9 and dx11 options) and that didn't work either.

I noticed that the mouse appeared over the game, and the audio from the game is captured, but just not the video. :(

Remove and re-add the OBS executable to the Nvidia control panel. Make sure you add the right one, or just add both - 32-bit is C:\Program Files (x86)\OBS\OBS.exe and 64-bit is C:\Program Files\OBS\OBS.exe. Be sure to restart OBS after doing so.

So I tried doing that, but I don't really see any "running list" of applications I've added, but I browsed to both executables anyway and forced the nvidia gpu on them both (although it looked like the nvidia control panel was treating them as one.)

I went into the global settings, and forced the high performance nvidia on everything.
This seems to make dx games work in game capture (lococycle worked :) ) but not other things.

Testing things out, I went back to the global settings, returned it to autoselect, and in OBS selected many different games, one at a time. Under normal settings none of them worked, but if I put the games in window capture AND check "compatibility mode", everything works (including emulators)

So I seem to be a step closer to figuring this out....just not sure what this all means.

BTW thanks for all the help so far ^_^
