OBS Xbox game bar widget

I just discovered that xbox game bar supports 3rd party widgets and I thought that a widget that could work in tangent with the OBS app could be great, for displaying chat or other things on top of the game or whatever I am streaming.

Hi guys. If you are interested . I am currently in progress off building one. Still a WIP but any suggestions could be helpful. Started as my free time initiative. but found out this post while googling so wanted to share

Is there any link to your github, cuz I try to googled it but found no link on front pages.

That sounds great. I did have it set up in OBS where the party chat was on a separate channel and now something changed and it is no longer letting that setting work and I can't separate the chat from the game audio in OBS which prevents me from streaming and/or recording because some of my friends don't want their voice out in the public so I have to be able to mute out the chat channel.

is there any update to this?
i'd be really interested to see where it is now, even 3 years later and with all the plugins i have for OBS and other things this is still something that would be insanely helpful for me for alot of things
especially games and programs that use exclusive fullscreen with overlay support

OMG, i have been looking everywhere for a widget that shows my stream chat over my game so i can see and read it. i have no clue why its not a normal thing. i use OBS, but found out that Xsplit has a plugin that works with Game Bar Overlay. lets me have my YT stream chat anywhere i want and i can make it transparent, change the font and its colors. its PERFECT.... or is it? on OBS i can stream at 1080p 60fps for free. but on Xsplit i have to stream at 720p 30fps, otherwise it will have a watermark, so i would have to purchase it which right now is expensive for me. i know this forum is old but i was hoping to find out about ur application and if its working?
