Question / Help OBS Won't select my resolution

I'm having an issue where OBS won't select the same resolution that my computer is running at. I'm more just trying to see what my laptop is capable of, but what I've notice is OBS only captures an area of the screen that is about 3/4 of my screen. My desktop resolution is set to 1920x1080, and that is what the "Custom Resolution" is set to. But if I set it to Monitor 1, it's sets it to1536x864 and there's no option for selecting graphics adapter.

Now I am trying this out on a Dell Inspiron Laptop. It has an Intel i7-4510U with 8GB DDR3 and integrated Intel HD graphics. I know this isn't really ideal for streaming at all. My hope was to at some point connect the PC I play on to my Elgato Game Capture HD and record on my laptop. I first wanted to try running it without the Game Capture HD and record my desktop, just so I could analyze the logs to see what kind of bottle-neck it says I have. But for some reason, it isn't even capturing the entire display.

Just set the base resolution to whatever you want it to be.
I have done that. I set the base resolution to 1920x1080, but it still is only recording 3/4 of the screen from the top left. You can actually see what I'm talking about here: http://www.twitch.tv/frozenstarcraft/b/634785448?t=15s

I have checked to make sure the the source isn't stretched or cropped. No matter what resolution, All I get is this size. Again, this is on monitor capture. I'm not sure what it looks like on game capture or window capture.

Yeah, no matter what base resolution I put OBS at when doing monitor capture, the log always uses a base resolution of 1536x864. I have no idea why it's doing that, or why OBS doesn't show the integrated Intel HD in the video adapter drop down.

I actually figured the problem out just now. After a quick google search, the 1536x864 resolution is exactly 25% down scaled from 1920x1080. This is caused by a setting within the resolution options in Windows to scale text and other UI elements up. It was set to large (125%). How or what changed this, I don't know, but after setting it to small (100%) it works perfectly now.
