OBS v28 Clean New Installation Crashing, Was Working Before

Hi,

I had a recent installation of OBS 28.0.1 that I was configuring (portable). In the last few days this installation started to crash. I thought that I had done some kind of wrong configuration, or maybe some plugin was installed incorrectly.

However, I set up a new (totally clean) instance of OBS in another folder (portable as well). Even so, this installation crashes when starting. Sometimes it starts correctly, but most of the time it doesn't.

I also tried installing OBS (not portable), the same error persists. I haven't messed with any video, audio or similar drivers recently.

There are two windows environment variables that need to be removed relating to OBS' plugins.

Indeed it worked after deleting some OBS created environment variables. Not sure where you read that from the logs, but thanks!

The duplication of all the core modules.

It was likely caused by elgato streamdeck installers.
