Question / Help OBS streaming - Heroes of Newerth - Lagging in game

Guys I do have problems with OBS streaming. I have such micro lags in game called Heroes of Newerth and so i cant then play properly (my games are then horrible). And also on Stream there are little lags but they are kinda fine with people. The image is stattering and lagging in the game. In the stream http://www.twitch.tv/deathwingsvk , it works kinda fine.

So for the internet here we go:

I did a test on speedtest.net and the server was in Leipzig thats in Germany. Im from Zilina North of Slovakia.

The reason why it's slow is because you did not set up your laptop correctly, and it's using the wrong video adapter setup. I can see it in your log, where it says "Adapter 2". That means you absolutely did it up incorrectly. It should always be "Adapter 1" for laptops.

  • In video settings, set your video adapter to the top one in the adapter drop down. If it says intel, that's fine, it'll still use nvidia, I'll explain in a sec.
  • Then, go to windows control panel, and open nvidia control panel. In there, you must add OBS.exe to run on the nvidia ("performance") adapter. Alternatively, you can use the global tab and force all programs to run on the nvidia.

Thanks for advices. i did all what have you told me but it doesnt seem to help :( CAn you pls go on my stream and ill stream it so you can check my steps please?

Btw i have two choices in OBS Intel graphics family and nvidia so which one should i choose? i did the 2. step. But it seemed it was already added to Nvidia this OBS.

Now i have these i have updated my Nvidia to newer version and it kinda changed a lot of things.

In the drop down, you must always have the top one in the list selected, regardless of what it is, and then use nvidia's control panel to force programs to run on the specific graphics adapters. Do this for both your game and OBS, or even better just use the global settings and force all programs to run on the nvidia.

In the second log it seems like it was properly running on the nvidia that time, because it says "Adapter 1" and uses the nvidia, therefore the nvidia control panel settings must have worked.
