OBS ( StreamElements?) Crashing if chat is in the popout window

I'm trying to sus out a problem, or make it known that I have been seeing this. My OBS when I was launching it, the title bar would flicker non-stop and then when I clicked it or the OBS window to focus it, the title bare would turn gray and then shortly after Windows would report it unresponsive. So after turning things off slowly in Safe Mode eventually I got it to launch reliably when I put the chat window back into the main OBS window instead of running it as a pop out.

I am under Windows 11, the most recent nVidia drivers. I installed the latest version of Stream Elements and OBS reports version 32.1.2.

I have been running with the chat pop-out for a long while and this only just started happening. At one point it stopped after I disabled HAGS but then the problem came back tonight and HAGS was still disabled.

I'm just trying to sus out what is going on, as well as sharing this incase anyone else is running into it. I am open to suggestions or things to try otherwise.

If it matters, the machine is a AMD 7700X, Gigabyte 5070 Ti, and 64GB.

A crash report is needed. If there is no crash report then the problem originates somewhere else.
If you have issues with streamelements you should contact their support. Remember that this third party plugin use to break OBS.

I'll take a look when I get home. I might try and see if it crashes if I fresh install it and set it up the same way as well without Streamelements.
I'm not sure if it was generating a report or not, though OBS is aware that it crashed at least. It was running smoothly until I started using the chat pop out, which also initially ran fine for quite a while. I kind of like using the popout so I can have the chat be larger. Unless there's a better way to do that. Still learning and always willing to try different setups / methods.

I don't see any new crash logs, but I was able to replicate the condition by opening the chat pop out, closing OBS and then starting it with the chat pop-out in place. Though I also noticed that if I click in the chat pop out before I click on the main OBS window, the flickering stops and OSB doesn't go (Not Responding). I might try this on a copy without stream elements and see if that affects it next.
