If it didn't raise the frames, you dont have it setup right.
Question / Help OBS slowing down Minecraft

If you tried the vce then it's a minecraft concern and not obs.

I dont know how to set up the vce, i downloaded and installed it, but i dont know what to do from there or what it does. Sorry i dont know alot about computers.

Thanks for dealing with me and my questions :D
First, you ask or read. dont just say it doesn't work.
extract with 7zip or an unzip program, put it on your desktop somewhere then run it from there. go to the encoder tab of settings then select VCE instead of x264. uncheck use NV12 usings OpenCL and just have AMF checked.
go over to the AMD VCE settings tab and set IDR to 0 and GOP to whatever your fps is set to.
try and stream. post a log if you are having issues. in fact, post a log anway and update me
What i said above, but you might need Microsoft C++ redistributable which there is a link there to microsoft. make sure you download both 32 qand 64 bit, just in case.

I downloaded the microsoft C++ thing and i changed the settings you told me too. Still no changing result :(

most of the time, it is all the addons in minecraft that kill it when streaming. as for other programs. to rule out everything else, close all but Minecraft, OBS (go back to the main build until we get this working) andllastly, if you have a program to monitor temps. test a 5 minute stream or record
Oh lastly, make sure you dont have raptr running in the background. If it is, you might have to uninstall it.
Hey guys, was wondering if this was sorted because I have similar problems. All my other games work fine in terms of lag free but the second I record, it slows mine craft down.
