obs is skipping even when i record or preview but when i open avermedia it is fluid and perfectly fine i have tried everything every thread has posted

upload 27mbs

pc specs

amd fx 8350 4.0ghz
asus platinum r9 290x
24 gb ddr3 ram

i use a c920 webcam
and astro a40s for the stream

bit rate 2500
video 1920x1080 1.5 downscale 1280x720 30fps
use cfr enabled

please help :(

I'm almost sure that your cpu isn't good enought for these settings. lower the fps to 25 and see if that fixes your issues. Make also sure that the Aver card frimware is up to date, this card is new on the market if i'm not mistaken.
The c920 is pretty resource intensive too i think. try removing the cam. That could be the main issue.
 
my processor can do 1080p at 60 that is not the issue i tried the cam same issue when i use the avermedia software everything works fine

also it smooths out sometimes and works for 30 seconds then goes back to skipping frames again
