Question / Help OBS Ruining the stream

Dear OBS'rs.

I've been following this forum and using this software for some years now.
But lately i ran into an problem and cant seem to find the issue so i decided to post it here and see if some can help.

For about a week, i've been trying to stream Game-captures with OBS but i only get laggy videos with it.

My Setup is:
LGP Lite GL310 (FLV 30fps, 720P VidBitrate 2.0 Mbps)
OBS (have tried low, mid specs but has all default set now) window capture- video window is the only option that works .
Game console.

PC Specs:
W7 32
Intel D 3.40 GhZ
7168MB Ram
DX11
GeForce 8800GT


Internet connection
Up=160mbps
Down= 19mbps


I only use the PC for streaming.
When i stream trough capture card directly to twitch, everything is sublime (no problems).
As soon i get it trough OBS it becomes a hell. That's why i think that the problem lays in OBS settings.

Oh, almost forgot,
I dont get frame drops, but often the message of high encoding cpu...........

Your system basically isn't suitable for streaming because of the pentium processor.

I've found some things and now the system is running fine and i can stream as intended.

Uh... how? That thing isn't even a potato. A settings tweak isn't going to change that.
