Question / Help OBS randomly spiking in cpu usage?

alright so ive been streaming for a while, and i had this problem before,

but my cpu usage would explode, from using 10 cpu, up to 35. in which would make my game lag, only for about 5 seconds then it stops. then it would spike again.

usually this has only been happening with dota, i put all my game settings low, lowered my obs settings, and nothing seems to help.

pls help

i know i can just use an old version of obs to solve this, its just im tired of accidentally hitting update then having to reinstall all over again.

That is an incomplete log. Can you restart OBS, do a test recording for a few minutes, restart OBS, and post the last log?

What version of OBS solves this?

if i remember correctly, it was anything under v0.525 or something like that, once we got into .6 this began to happen
