Question / Help OBS Not working.

The information is easy to solve.

The error you are referring to is saying you should take a hammer and slam hard on the Graphics Card, and then sing a raindance, and then go naked out in the rain.

Heres the log!

That is an incomplete log. What is the actual error message you're receiving?

Also, it's likely you're getting really bad performance because of your GPU. That is a really bad GPU, and OBS needs a decent GPU to run smoothly to render the picture.

Are you gonna still help me or not?!?!
sadly, the log you posted does not include your error. you cant just start OBS and paste the log. you have to make the error happen in that session THEN post the logs. please post the logs to pastebin as it describes.

It would also help to give a better description of the problem.

has OBS worked before?
did you change anything since it last worked?
there is an updated version of OBS, why havent you updated?
does the error happen when you hit the stream/record or just one or the other?

seriously dude you need to cool your jets, no one is getting paid here to help you but we're all willing to help, just cool down and give us the info to help you.

I cannot see the important things in your log. upload the whole thing to pastbin, paste the link here or click help and upload the log there. it will open a github link and you can post that link here, not the text. or does your log stop at "18:39:55: fps: 30"??

Anyway, what I can say is that you have a dual core no hyperthreading, a really old GPU. I mean, even at the time of release this was a low level system.

tl;dr you cannot stream at anything over 480p @ 30fps with that setup. and that is pushing it.

Yes, these guys are right. Your system is far too old to stream anything really. Like dping said, even at the time of release, your CPU was very weak compared to everything else released at that time.

I would seriously recommend basically buying/building an entirely new system before you think about streaming again. Anything you stream is not going to be enjoyable to watch.
