Question / Help OBS not streaming

Ok, recently downloaded OBS... Followed instructions to set it up.. Once I get my stream key set and checked a preview, everything seemed okay. Now when I click to stream, my hitbox account goes from offline to a black screen? Why am I getting only a black screen when I stream from OBS? What am I doing wrong.

When you start streaming the preview area in OBS should show you what is being sent to hitbox. Is that working correctly? If your preview in OBS is only black you would of course only see black on Hitbox. If nothing helps:

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I can see my game through preview but when I click stream, I head on over to my hitbox account to make sure it is showing but it only shows a black screen. Nothing else.

Sorry I must have missed the link to your log file of trying to stream to hitbox ;)
