Hello,

I'm trying to get OBS to stream sounds from Cubase 7 and no sound is detected at all. Cubase and all other sound like video games, mumble and youtube are going through my soundcard (Audio Kontrol 1) and all other sounds are detected by OBS without issue. Does anyone know how I can get this program to work with OBS? I want to be able to play music live on my stream.

Thanks your help!

Thanks for your response achmetha. I will post a log once I get home.

I downloaded ASIO4ALL last night but not really sure how to set it up properly. To be honest I get very confused when dealing with multiple input/outputs. But I'm determined! When I set Cubase to use ASIO4ALL instead of Audio Kontrol 1, I can't hear anything.

Thanks again for your help!

I don't think it's possible to use ASIO4ALL with OBS & other software at the same time. From what I understand it makes the audio exclusive to that software only when in use. I would disable it while testing if it is installed now.

Personally, I don't have Cubase on my computer, so I'm not 100% sure how it works. Since all other audio is working fine through OBS, it must be a setting in that program itself that needs to change.

Are you using a USB interface with a guitar? Or is this built-in loops like Garage Band sort of thing?

I'm using electronic and drums and keyboard which is connected my my PC via USB and controls the midi files through cubase.
