Question / Help OBS no longer picking up my mic audio after a week of streaming fine?

Ok so i have been streaming a week now, last night i done a PC update and now this morning i start streaming my viewers were talking to me and aparently i had been talking to my self for half hour before i had realised i had been, ok so my mic is working fine ive done tests the bars are going up when i talk but the only bar that doesent go up is the OBS one, nexto the audio one... the audio bar is going up fine but the mic isnt which is the reason nobody can hear me talking on stream, if there is any solvers out there that know whats going on please do say otherwise i cant stream! :( my Headset is a HP premium headset and it is a single USB plug in, Thanks

Ok guys i fixed it im not quite sure WHAT i did to fix it?... i clicked preview stream and suddenly its working again? thanks anyway people i did re do all of my audio settings so try that if it happens to any of you
