OBS Mutes All Desktop Audio

Hi,

I just created a new scene on OBS. I have done this many times without issue. Suddenly, today I finished recording something and wanted to start watching a video. At that point I realized I couldn't hear any audio.

According to window, all audio is running perfectly fine, and without issue.

I tried to find a solution and apparently its connected to using Bluetooth headphones. For context: I have been using several JBL models for 3-4 years, maybe longer. I have never had this issue with OBS until today. Therefore, it's very frustrating to read everyone in the few posts I found blaiming the headphones, which have always worked for me.

Everything I did today was changing the aspect ratio, and then changing it back, I then created a new scene, added an audio input for my mic, and then deleted the scene once I was done. That somehow broke everything and I am at a loss for what to do.

I tried disabling Window audio ducking (it was turned on anyway but I turned it off and then on again with no fix). I tried every monitoring device in the list. Nothing changed.

I also restarted my PC, which didn't fix it. I disabled and enabled a bunch of combinations in the "Global Audio Devices"-tab. All failed.

I am worried I need to delete and reinstall my OBS and all the scenes and settings.

Would appreciate any help.

I have now tested a few things. Under Sound and recordings there is something called "JBL... Handsfree Audio" as long as I disable that everything works fine.

The issue is that I think I need that to talk on the headphones and am sometimes required to speak in a call via that one as I need to leave my room and still talk :(
