OBS Midi plugin

Am trying to control scene changes is OBS by Midi.
Have tried to use the plugin obs-midi-mg-2.3.1 for Windows and although it makes the Tools menu, as soon as I click it in the drop-down, OBS crashes.
I'm using the latest version of OBS 29.1.3
Any ideas please?
