OBS memory usage spikes with Logitech C920 webcam source

Hi everyone,

I am using OBS on my Mac as an interface for my webcam and mic to feed it into MS Teams. It's nothing special, just the cam, a simple text and picture overlay, and my mic with some VST plugins.

However, after running OBS for a certain amount of time, it starts filling the application memory. It starts at around 500-600MB and creeps up all the way to 64GB, which eventually crashes my Mac if I don't force quit OBS.

After some experimentation, I realized that it might be caused by my webcam source, a Logitech C920. If I disable the source (or change the device to something else), the application memory usage immediately goes back to the initial 500-600MB and stays there.

I'm wondering if there's a fix for this issue. Currently, my workaround is to switch to a different scene collection while idle, and for meetings, switch back to the one with the cam enabled.

System: Apple M1 2020 Ventura 13.2.1
OBS: 29.0.2

Any help would be appreciated! :-)
