OBS masking a browser source

I understand how to mask if its a video capture device, and have the shapes and everything set up. But as we run games with multiple people remotely we use video ninja and pull in everyone's camera feed individually via a browser source. Is there a way to apply the mask to the browser source in the same way you would when doing it to a video capture?

OBS Studio 32.2.2

Is there any difference at all? Right-click menu over the Source > Filters > Add Image Mask/Blend (in the Effects Filters section, not in the Audio Filters section).

Or something wrong?

As mentioned it previews like its working the same way but on the scene, even after refreshing and transitioning, the source isn't masked.

Can you make new Scene Collection for the test purposes? Add only one Browser source to it, apply required Filter. Make the action you need to reproduce the problem (perform transition or whatever you do). Visually confirm that the problem is present and add current OBS log to your post. And maybe add few screenshots to better understand what is not OK.
